| The winner of this years Boyne City Men's Slow Pitch League Softball Tournament was Team Kai (AKA BC PIZZA). This team is normally wearing blue BC Pizza shirts but they wore PINK TEAM KAI shirts to support Kapua Kipapa's sister who is battling cancer. Team Kai (AKA BC Pizza) was "fighting" for a good cause and it showed. They beat Wilkinson/Breaker's by a score of 22-6. Dan Boulter from Team Kai had two homeruns and Bobby Woolard and Tad Layman from Wilkinson/Breaker's had one home run each. Regular season games will resume again Monday July 18. |
